Leveraging Luxury Industry Trends

Your Jewelry Store Can Profit from Luxury Industry Trends!

According to research, the future of the jewelry industry sparkles brightly!! However, the jewelry customers of today are very different from customers of the past. They have different expectations of “what they buy”, they’re changing “where they buy” and they want good reason on “why to buy”!

The Plumb Club was pleased to host a valuable, retail-learning webinar on these evolving trends, presented by Jewelers of America (JA) in connection with Synchrony Financial. The webinar took place virtually at the Jewelers Resource Center Auditorium on Thursday, August 17th, 2023 at 2pm EDT.

The webinar, entitled “Leveraging Luxury Industry Trends”, was presented as a conversation between Regina Ciarleglio of JA., Jonathan Preciado of Synchrony Financial and Amanda Gizzi of JA.  The trio discussed how retailers can leverage a variety of research findings and recent trends such as:

  • The predicted surge in personal luxury goods purchasing
  • The projected increases in online sales
  • The changing face and expectation of the luxury customer
  • The importance of personal style reflection in jewelry purchasing
  • The evolving trends of the wedding market

Additionally, the group pointed out the importance of financing in ensuring a consumer’s comfort level and reducing a barrier to purchase.
