Medal of Honor Recipient Sal Giunta spoke to Plumb Club members and their guests on Saturday morning during the 2015 JCK Las Vegas jewelry show.

Saving his squad from the Taliban during a deadly ambush in Afghanistan, Sal Giunta shared – with unassuming humility – his courageous story and the importance of teamwork, selflessness and leadership.

A valiant leader, former U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Sal Giunta was introduced by President Barack Obama as being “as humble as he is courageous” when he was presented with our nation’s highest military decoration—The Medal of Honor—for his heroic actions during combat in the Korengal Valley of Afghanistan. A true American hero and the author of the book “Living with Honor”.

Sal inspired the audience with his story and tied his experience to how dedicated teamwork and decisive leadership is key in our personal lives as well as business.

Each attendee received a complimentary signed copy of Sal Giunta’s book. Following the presentation, our Congressional Medal of Honor was in the Plumb Club Pavilion to personalize his book and provide a photo opportunity. All photos have been sent out.  If you took a photo with Sal and did not receive it, please contact the Plumb Club office.
